How to Care DAVILANE Nylon Watch Band?





Nylon watch bands would get sweat, rain or odor after some time of use, you might need to take care of it in order to get the band to better ware condition.


To care for our nylon watch bands, detach it from the watch case and wash by hand with mild soap and lukewarm water, using a soft-bristled brush to gently remove dirt and stains. Rinse thoroughly, pat dry with a lint-free cloth, and air dry away from sunlight or heat. Avoid harsh chemicals, hot water, or dryers to protect the material. (Leather material washed is not suggested)

  1. Detach the Band First, remove the nylon band from the watch case before cleaning to protect the watch, remove the “G” metal buckle too.
  2. Prepare Cleaning Solution Mix a small amount of mild liquid soap (e.g., dish or hand soap) with lukewarm water. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach, which can damage the fibers.
  3. Scrub the Band Gently scrub the band with a soft-bristled toothbrush or brush to loosen dirt and stains from the fabric.
  4. Rinse and Dry Rinse the band under fresh, lukewarm water to remove all soap residue. Pat dry with a clean, lint-free cloth. Hang the band or lay it flat to air dry completely.


Important Considerations

  • Avoid Heat: Do not use a clothes dryer, as high heat can damage or distort the nylon.
  • Prevent Fading: Store your watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve color.
  • Clean Regularly: Wash the band often, especially after workouts or sweaty conditions, for hygiene and appearance.
  • Hardware: Clean metal parts with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly to prevent rust or corrosion.
